Part Time Observer

Job Opportunity : Observer At Offutt Air Force Base

Amentum is seeking an Observer to perform entry control actions at Offutt Air Force Base. The Observer will ensure adequate observation and physical control of construction workers, oversee specialty items, and assist with construction zone / site badge issue and control for all personnel requiring entry to the construction zone / sites.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Understand, apply, and adhere to the principles of the Privacy Act, Title 5 of the U.S. Code, Section 552a, and applicable rules and regulations.
• Understand, apply, and adhere to the principles of Operations Security (OPSEC) for identifying, controlling, and protecting critical unclassified information.
• Meet and deal successfully with the general public.
• Apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials to assigned duties.
• Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Conduct "Stop & Question" of persons found in closed and locked areas, parking lots, and throughout the construction site after hours and on weekends / holidays to ensure no criminal activity has or is taking place.
• Construct and write clear, concise, and accurate detailed reports if needed.
