Claims Representative

Company - J29 Inc onsite at USDA

Location - 13800 Old Gentilly Rd New Orleans, LA (5x onsite)

40 hours a week, split shifts between 6 AM and 6 PM

Pay Rate - $15-16 / hour W2

Openings - 12

Duration - 12 month contract due to surge work

Job Description -

• Process high-volume, complex federal retirement cases accurately and efficiently
• Apply federal retirement regulations and verify reported data
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting
• Operate office equipment (ten-key calculator, copier, fax)
• Collaborate in a team environment to meet performance goals
• Participate in mandatory government orientation and annual training
• Experience in office environments handling large volumes of transactions
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills
• Familiarity with federal retirement regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and maintain compliance with federal standards
