Our client, a leading university, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on IT support to staff, faculty, and students. This role requires experience supporting both Mac and Windows systems in a fast-paced academic environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot macOS and Windows workstations.
- Assist with user account setup, access management, and system updates.
- Support classroom and office technology, including AV equipment and printers.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.
Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of technical support experience, preferably in an educational or enterprise environment.Strong knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Microsoft 365 environments.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to provide professional, customer-focused service to a diverse user base.Compensation : $20-24 / hr
