A company is looking for a Coder Physician.

Key Responsibilities

Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records

Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing

Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, and ensure accurate coding for billing purposes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program

A minimum of five years of current production coding experience in relevant pro fee

Strong EM level of service experience

Experience with Epic software

Certification such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and / or CCS-P is required
