Facility : Mission Hospital Main Operating Room, K Tower, 2nd Floor

Unit : Operating Room (OR), 29 beds

Shift : 7 : 00am – 7 : 00pm, 12-hour day shifts

Hours per Week : 36

Assignment Duration : 13-week travel contract (Start : 12 / 21 / 2025, End : 3 / 22 / 2026)

Scrubs Provided

OR Tech – First Assist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year recent experience as an Operating Room Technician or Surgical First Assist

Valid certification : CSTFA, CFA, or RNFA

Proven ability to assist surgeons in ortho trauma, ortho, spine, neuro, GYN, general, robotics, vascular, and other specialties

Flexible scheduling and participation in call rotation

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during procedures including ortho trauma, neuro, spine, GYN, urology, general, robotics, vascular, pediatrics, ENT, plastics, podiatry, OMF, dental, and eye trauma

Operate and maintain OR equipment, including Da Vinci, Mako, and Velys robotic systems

Accurately document procedures and patient care using Cerner EMR

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (scrubs provided)

Float to other hospital units as needed
