Junior Content Engineer

JOB PURPOSE As a Junior Content Engineer, you will handle a variety of content management tasks and proactively maintain and optimize content within Content Management Systems (CMS). You will ensure all task-related information is complete, support process optimization, and collaborate closely with senior team members and clients. This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical skills, contribute to quality assurance, and support project management activities in a dynamic agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operational setup, testing, and deployment of content within various content management systems (CMS) including Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Shopware, WordPress, Drupal, or TYPO3.
- Coordinate project activities such as scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and supporting the setup and launch of content management tasks across multiple clients.
- Assist in auditing, mapping, and placing content accurately in client-specific CMS platforms, ensuring technical precision and adherence to client requirements.
- Support quality assurance by reviewing content and system outputs to identify and report bugs or issues, collaborating with technical teams to resolve them.
- Assist in project management tasks such as effort estimation, progress tracking, and documentation to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in content management processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Excellent German and English skills to effectively support client interactions and internal coordination.First experience in online content management or related roles, ideally with content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Shopware, WordPress, Drupal, TYPO3, or Contentful; willingness to quickly learn and master new platforms.Basic knowledge of HTML and technical content requirements to support web operations and content placement.Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira is desirable.Experience in Excel, Word, as well as Google Docs and Google Sheets;A good sense of design and layout, with motivation to develop skills in content auditing, mapping, and consulting, focusing on quality assuranceStrong planning and organisational abilities to assist with project management tasks, including scheduling, testing, effort estimation, and reporting.Initial work experience in an agency, editorial office or in the fields of marketing and communication is an advantage.We offer
