About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Experience : Minimum 1 year required

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have : On-call required.

Must have Cath Lab experience.

Must be able to scrub cases.

Monitoring experience preferred.

Will accept RCIS with experience.

Description :

The Cath Lab Tech will support the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

On-call duty is required.

Candidate must have experience in the Cath Lab environment.

Ability to scrub cases is essential.

Experience in monitoring patient vital signs is preferred.

RCIS certification is acceptable with relevant experience.

The role requires knowledge in activated clotting time, angioplasty, antiarrhythmics, and antihypertensives.

Candidates should be familiar with cardiac implant devices, stent placements, and diagnostic catheterizations.

Experience with emergency medications and interventional procedures is important.

The tech should be proficient in monitoring procedural sedation and interpreting dysrhythmias.

Familiarity with radiation and laser safety protocols is necessary.

Candidates must possess skills in various procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, thoracentesis, and valve replacement techniques.

Knowledge of infection prevention measures is expected.

The Cath Lab Tech will work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support teams.

A strict no-tobacco policy is in place, and compliance with nicotine screening is mandatory.
