General Role Description
Develop, improve, and automate procurement processes
Role Accountabilities
- Identify projects / reports needed to achieve the function's objectives, develop the plan, and execute as approved
- Provide procurement-related process improvement input to business units and shared services
- Advise users on proper process execution
- Implement new technology and data-driven solutions for the procurement department
- Develop documentation for new and revised processes
- Produce reports to the Company and parent company to obtain and maintain statistical and schedule data with suppliers
- Investigate, test, and implement new procurement-related ERP modules or processes when assigned
- Develop equipment forecast reports and distribute to appropriate personnel
- Monitor expediting and purchase order production activity daily, advising or escalating as necessary
- Improve data sharing methods and content with suppliers that result in increased productivity and visibility of information
- Develop, process, send, and revise purchase orders for equipment and services to suppliers, as assigned
- Develop procurement dashboards and data pipelines, as assigned
- Collaborate on cross-functional technology initiatives in procurement domains

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent via education and / or work experience2 years' experience in procurement, data analytics and / or information technologyDemonstrated experience in computer programming, data processing, and statistical analysisDemonstrated ability to integrate data science methods into operational business processesDemonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contactsDemonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skillsDemonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibilityProficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and VisioProficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL or Power BIWorking knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAPAvailability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 10%, sometimes with limited noticePreferred Qualifications
