Certifications : BLS, ARRT (R), Venipuncture License

Must-Have :

• 2 years of experience
• Ability to float within the hospital based on census
• First-time travelers accepted with required experience

Description :

CT Tech position for a fast-paced, high-volume department.

The department is equipped with 2 CT scanners.

Both scanners are Canon models (64 and 320 slice).

A tech assistant is available during shifts, with a minimum of 2 designated techs per shift.

Must cover every other weekend.

Patient age groups range from neonates to geriatrics.

Required skills include performing scans of various body parts with and without contrast.

Experience with 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction is needed.

Administrative tasks such as preparation and administration of contrast media are required.

Clienttion safety practices must be followed.

Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture techniques are necessary.

Must handle various types of CT examinations including trauma and vascular studies.

Successful candidates will work well in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Documentation will be done using an electronic system.

This role is suitable for techs with a strong background in adult acute care and pediatric care.
