Job Summary
This position involves assembling components based on work instructions, maintaining equipment, inventory, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. The employee will be responsible for following assembly instructions, verifying specifications, and supporting overall team efforts.

Duties / Responsibilities
Obtain work instructions from the supervisor and interpret written and verbal instructions, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery slips, and similar records.
Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, then gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements to ensure proper fit.
Assemble components by fastening parts and subassemblies, ensuring correct connections.
Verify specifications by measuring completed components to ensure accuracy.
Resolve assembly issues by modifying dimensions to meet specifications and notify the supervisor for additional resources as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and request repairs when necessary.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain supplies by checking stock, placing orders, and verifying received supplies.
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
Complete production and quality forms to document actions.
Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as necessary.
Assist with warehouse and grounds housekeeping at Koch Filter locations.
Detect faulty equipment, incorrect orders, damaged items, or shortages and refer issues to the supervisor.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain warehouse housekeeping and participate in 5S activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Participate in all HPT (High-Performance Team) functions.
Required Skills / Abilities
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including blueprints, specifications, charts, tables, and tape measures.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and basic math skills (e.g., reading a ruler).
Strong decision-making and judgment skills to plan and perform work efficiently.
Ability to follow work instructions and make adjustments to assembly processes as needed.
Computer proficiency to support the completion of tasks.
Education / Experience
High School diploma preferred or one year of related work experience.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch, talk, hear, and occasionally taste or smell.
Ability to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds frequently, 25 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and vibration.
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
