Medical Assistant
Under the supervision of the manager / director, coordinates and maintains daily operational activities to assure the delivery of quality care, to provide exceptional customer service, to foster collaborative and professional working relationships and to ensure staff adherence to the policies and procedures of the health care system and regulatory agencies.
Minimum Education :
Required : Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2 - 3 years of college
Preferred : Associates Degree
Specify Degree(s) : Successful completion of accredited medical assistant program Successful completion of Loyola's phlebotomy training program is required
Minimum Experience :
Required : Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Preferred : 6 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Details : Ambulatory experience in a primary or specialty care setting required Previous Supervisory experience in an active, clinical setting is strongly preferred.
Licensure / Certifications :
Required : (upon hire) Possess at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant certifications :
Preferred : ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified) and / or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP)

Compensation :
Pay Range : $25.71 - $27.13 per hour Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
