Job Description :
As a Supplier Quality Manager Level 1, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of materials and components supplied to our organization. You will work closely with senior management, procurement, and engineering teams to evaluate and monitor supplier performance, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This entry-level management position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong foundation in quality assurance and a desire to grow in the field of supplier quality management.
Responsibilities :
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, or a related field. Internship or co-op experience in supplier quality management is also acceptable.
Skills : Basic understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and supplier quality processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, CAPA, and statistical process control (SPC). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications : ASQ Certification, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, or similar certifications are a plus.
Industry Experience : Experience in Aerospace or manufacturing is advantageous.
Technical Skills : Basic knowledge of supplier processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to the industry.
Salary Range : $90,300 - $135,500
