Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,804 per week

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Reno, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours Employment Type : Travel Job Duties Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures per physician orders and department protocol. Operate imaging equipment in trauma suites, operating rooms, and inpatient units. Evaluate image quality and adjust techniques to optimize diagnostic outcomes. Ensure patient comfort and safety, adhering to ALARA principles and infection control standards. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists in a fast-paced environment. Maintain documentation, including charting, billing, informed consent, and patient history. Float to other imaging modalities or hospital departments as needed within skill competency. Provide care for a full range of patient populations (neonatal to geriatric). Required Qualifications Certification : ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Required upon hire) Licensure : Nevada State License for Medical Radiography (Required upon hire) Certifications : American Heart Association BLS Experience : Minimum of 2 years of inpatient radiology experience Fluoroscopy experience required Technical Competency : Must be proficient with portable imaging, trauma radiography, and OR procedures. Must demonstrate independent competence in these areas within 90 days of hire (validated by Imaging Manager).
