Description :

The Quality Lead will ensure that products meet the highest quality standards, oversee and support quality assurance activities related to inventory, production, warehouse, inspections, holds, DMRs, deviation investigations and developing corrective actions to prevent future defects.   • Excellent communication.
  • Monitor quality related aspects of warehouse / inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FSSC22000 and company procedures regarding material storage, labeling, handling and segregation.
  • Coordinate and perform routine warehouse audits to ensure material / product traceability and status control.
  • Coordinate and review material holds / quarantines, ensuring timely disposition, proper documentation, and communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Support nonconformance management and proper segregation of nonconforming materials.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, or FMEA and drive effective CAPA implementation for quality deviations.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, engineering, warehouse / logistics and vendors to resolve material quality issues.
  • Maintain and review quality records related to inspections, DMRs, holds and deviations for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare and present quality metrics and trends related to inspections, holds and material / vendor performance.
  • Support regulatory inspections, internal audits, and customer audits as needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for warehouse / inventory related quality issues.
  • Train warehouse staff on quality procedures, GMP practices and proper documentation.
  • Mentor junior quality personnel on inspection techniques, investigations and deviation handling. Provide guidance and support to ensure effective performance and professional development.
  • Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures as well as OSHA / FSSC standards.
  • Comply with all Quality, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP requirements, programs and concepts.
  • Comply with Environmental compliance, energy savings, and recycling requirements.
  • Comply with Safety requirements including but not limited to PPE, LOTO, Emergency Preparedness, machine guarding and safety rules.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Proficiency in quality control methodologies, report generation, and audit processes.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of quality and reporting.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience with experience developing a team.
  • Able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work on multiple levels (mezzanines, ladders, steps, etc....).
  • Able to work under extreme conditions (small space, hot / cold, wet, noisy, etc....).
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Windows based systems as well as other PC / Control Equipment.
  • Must be able to work under pressure during stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts (up to 12 hours) as determined by business needs.
  • Must be able to maintain work standards as it pertains to Safety, Quality, and Teamwork All other duties as assigned.
