Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a Level III trauma center, with Cerner charting experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an interventional radiology unit at a short-term acute care, Level III trauma facility
  • Daily caseload per technologist averages 15 procedures
  • Day shift schedule : four 10-hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM
  • On-call required two days per week and every third weekend during holidays if desired, with a 30-minute callback requirement
  • Weekend work and block scheduling is based on contract needs
  • May float to affiliate hospitals based on skillset and volume
  • Cerner McKesson and Cerner charting system is used and experience is required
  • Scrubs are provided
  • Assist radiologists during minimally invasive procedures and maintain a sterile field
  • Return staff must have been separated for at least 3 years before returning as a traveler
  • Must complete up to 8 hours of pre-start modules within 1 week of signing
  • Parking is free on site
  • Professional conduct is strictly enforced on assignment; any issues may lead to immediate contract termination
  • No holiday RTO unless willing to work at least one of the three major holidays

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in interventional radiology
  • Current state license required if applicable; pending license accepted if active prior to start
  • Cerner charting experience required
  • Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; locals not accepted
  • Willingness to rotate on-call as scheduled
  • Must complete required certifications prior to start; pending certifications accepted
  • First-time travelers are accepted
