Job description

The Data Analyst II supports the Food & Nutrition Services department across company by maintaining, analyzing, and enhancing key operational databases and dashboards. This role ensures accurate data management, timely reporting, and analytical insights critical to high-priority, system-wide initiatives. The analyst will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to sustain project continuity during a temporary leave of absence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform data collection, cleaning, validation, and transformation across multiple food management and operational databases.
  • Support high-priority, system-wide Food & Nutrition Services projects through analysis, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Maintain existing dashboards, spreadsheets, and performance reports to ensure continuity during the incumbents leave.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and performance insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across company to ensure data alignment and accuracy.
  • Ensure documentation and workflow continuity for all database and reporting functions.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer and project handoff sessions with the permanent employee (pre- and post-leave).

Qualifications : Required :

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or related analytical role.
  • Proficiency with database systems and tools such as SQL, Excel, and Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets accurately.
  • Demonstrated experience translating data into meaningful operational insights.

    • Preferred :

  • Prior experience working with Food Management databases or comparable enterprise-level systems.
  • Experience within healthcare, food services, or large system environments.
  • Familiarity with copmany data environments or reporting tools.

    • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organized, pragmatic, and detail-oriented.
