Inside Sales

The Tribune-Democrat’s Classified Advertising Department is looking to fill an inside sales position. The Classified Inside Sales Representative, increases revenue for the company by selling advertising to private parties. They manage the needs of customers that either call or come in, and provides superior customer service to present and potential customers. They also manage the needs of all of their accounts and manages all aspects of their own schedule to achieve sales and revenue goals. This is an Entry Level Position, and responsibilities include :

• Scheduling ads, proofing ads, answering phones.
• Must be able to sell multiple advertising platforms, is a multi-tasker and can meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate must possess a working knowledge of computers, have an outgoing personality and be comfortable working over the phone.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate + commission, ongoing training, benefits package including vacation & advancement opportunities.
