Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend night shift assignment requiring ARRT, BLS, and two years of recent CT experience with contrast and noncontrast studies.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in an inpatient hospital setting with CT Tech unit
  • Patient populations include ED and community hospital patients
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
  • Schedule consists of 3x12-hour night shifts, either Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday, from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00
  • Experience in performing both noncontrast and contrast studies using PACS is required
  • Flu vaccination is required for all employees
  • Returning staff must have a one year gap since prior employment to be eligible as a traveler
  • Modules must be completed pre-start or during orientation and are tracked via transcripts
  • Must provide two recent supervisor references for consideration
  • Local candidates accepted within 60 miles at a local rate according to address on driver's license
  • No more than 7 days requested time off during the 13-week contract, and no RTO allowed in the first two weeks
  • Candidate must be willing to proceed without an interview if requested by the facility

  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Valid Maryland Board of Physicians Certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist in inpatient, ED, or community hospital settings
  • Demonstrated experience in both noncontrast and contrast studies
  • Proficiency with PACS required
  • License required if applicable
