Specific responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include :

  • Assist with the close and consolidation process and preparation of financial statements, including analysis of results, resolution of differences and communication of unexpected or unusual variances
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and analysis
  • Work closely with multiple departments and accounting and finance team members
  • Assist with the internal reporting function related to the monthly management reporting package and other GAAP and non-GAAP metrics
  • Interface with external auditors for annual audits, including preparation of financial statements, schedules and documentation
  • Month end close duties : journal entries, account reconciliations, stock based compensation

    • Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant :

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Public accounting experience preferred or straight industry (multinational company experience)
  • CPA or CPA tracking
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • B.S. in Accounting

    • $80,000-$95,000
