Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM
Responsibilities :
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
- Provide input into department's budget setting process.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Manage month-end and year-end close process.
- Work with outside vendors to provide financial information - e.g. 401k, ESOP
Qualification Skills :
Minimum five years of accounting experienceStrong leadership skills required.Experience in multi-unit / multi state concepts preferred.Must be self-directed and demonstrate the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.Duties require broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to deal with complex accounting issues; attention to detailExceptional analytical, problem solving, written and organizational skillsAbility to work and interact with departments and associates throughout the organizationAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. ERP data gathering skills desirable.Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.High level of analytical skills critical, along with ability to read and interpret financial trends.Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.Requirements :
