Job Summary :
We are seeking a polished, professional, and service-oriented Cashier to join our team at an upscale bakery and restaurant. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment and is passionate about hospitality, high-quality food, and expertly crafted beverages.
You will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests, preparing specialty coffee and beverages, managing to-go orders, and ensuring a seamless front-of-house experience that aligns with our premium brand.
Key Responsibilities :
Guest Experience & Cashiering :
Greet all guests with warmth, efficiency, and professionalism.Accurately take orders for dine-in, take-out, and pickup.Handle all POS transactions, cash handling, and receipts with precision.Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and ingredient details.Upsell premium products and provide recommendations tailored to guest preferences.Barista Duties :
Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, teas, and signature beverages with consistent quality.Operate professional-grade espresso machines and brewing equipment.Monitor inventory of coffee and barista supplies and restock as needed.Follow strict hygiene, safety, and presentation standards.To-Go Specialist :
Coordinate and package to-go orders with accuracy and attention to presentation.Ensure that all take-out items are complete, correctly labeled, and ready for prompt pickup or delivery.Communicate effectively with the kitchen and pastry teams regarding order timing and modifications.Manage third-party delivery app orders (e.g., Uber Eats, DoorDash) and ensure timely dispatch.Qualifications :
Minimum 12 years of experience in a fast-paced caf, bakery, or upscale food service setting.Strong knowledge of specialty coffee preparation and POS systems.Impeccable communication, time management, and multitasking skills.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.Professional demeanor, with a genuine passion for guest service and hospitality.Flexible availability including mornings / evenings, weekends, and holidays.
