This opportunity is tailored for registered nurses skilled in cardiovascular and critical care nursing. Located in Anchorage, Alaska, this 13-week contract role offers hands-on experience in a cardiac stepdown / PCU / telemetry unit, caring for patients requiring specialized cardiac monitoring and support.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiac stepdown / PCU / telemetry unit\n
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry equipment\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols\n
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and post-discharge care\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient status and interventions\n\nQualifications and Desired Experience : \n
• Current Alaska RN license is mandatory for submission\n
• Proven experience in cardiovascular and telemetry nursing preferred\n
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills within a stepdown or PCU setting\n
• Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining high-quality care standards\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required\n\nSchedule : \n
