Job description

The Product Engineer is responsible for improving existing designs and creating new designs as needed by participating in the entire product development cycle from concept generation to manufacturing, and ensuring products meet customer needs and are produced efficiently.

The Product Engineer is responsible for improving existing designs and creating new designs as needed by participating in the entire product development cycle from concept generation to manufacturing, and ensuring products meet customer needs and are produced efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate technical skills with guidance
  • Create clear and concise production drawings
  • Create and / or change bill of materials
  • Coordinate and conduct design review meetings
  • Inspect and approve parts
  • Maintain project notes and documentation
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates
  • Order and inspect production samples

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and have knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling. JD Edwards experience is preferred.

    Job Type : Full-time / Salaried

    Pay : $64,000 – $104,000

    The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
