Responsibilities Work within a hospital invasive cardiology unit featuring 4 cardiac cath labs and 2 electrophysiology labs Unit includes 23 prep and recovery bays and completes over 6,000 procedures annually Cases include complex coronary interventions, VAD / ECMO support, TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO / ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex ablations, pacemaker / ICD procedures, cardioversion, pulmonary artery interventions, and more 4x10 hour day shifts scheduled between 6 : 00 AM and 7 : 00 PM Weekend shifts are required as needed Call may be required, though not on holidays Floating is required as needed within scope of practice Must stay until the last patient is cared for each day EPIC EMR experience is required Role involves caring for patients undergoing a wide range of invasive cardiology and electrophysiology procedures May care for patients with COVID-19 Facility is tobacco and fragrance free No call required on holidays Team utilizes a multidisciplinary approach in a fast-paced diagnostic and interventional environment Appropriate attire and adherence to departmental dress code is required Pairs are permitted but matched schedules are not guaranteed Requirements Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab / EP experience required Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA or ARC required Proficiency with EPIC charting system is required Ability to care for patients undergoing advanced cardiovascular procedures including VAD / ECMO, TAVR, and electrophysiology interventions Compliance with pre-employment modules, typically 5-6 hours and completed pre-start Submission of two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years required Complete 7-year work history with explanations for any gaps required Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed during contract term Must meet local radius requirements; local candidates (within 50 miles) will be offered a reduced rate Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-638356.
