We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Technical Specialist to join our Building, Energy and Infrastructure (BEI) Group within our Distributed Energy Resources (DER) team. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE :

Provide leadership in technical and design services for renewable DER (distributed energy resources) projects from large-scale commercial to utility-scale. Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary cross-engineering team which includes mechanical, structural, survey, and civil disciplines.

Oversee designs and drawings, including both steady-state and dynamic power analyses.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY

• Provide leadership in technical and design services for renewable DER (distributed energy resources) projects from large-scale commercial to utility-scale. Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary cross-engineering team which includes mechanical, structural, survey, and civil disciplines.
• Oversee designs and drawings, including both steady-state and dynamic power analyses.
• This person is a technical expert and lead for distributed energy resource (DER) projects connecting at both distribution and transmission for utility scale projects varying in size up to 1000 MW-ac / 2000 MWh-dc. These projects will encompass both solar PV and BESS (battery energy storage systems). Commercial and Industrial (C&I) projects will be both behind the meter and in front of the meter varying in size from 100 kW-ac to 10 MW-ac. The engineer will collaborate with the full team to ensure civil, survey, structural, mechanical, electrical / MV designs and studies are addressed.
