Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Kansas City, KS 66160 (Kansas nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Unit : Cardiac Stepdown (CVOR) – Cardiovascular Operating Room Start Date : November 2, 2025 End Date : February 1, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Hours per Week : 40 hours Shift : 10-hour day shifts (may include 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; flexible schedule) Weekend Requirements : Rotating weekends as needed On-Call Requirements : Approximately 1 weekend per month Holiday Requirements : Required Estimated Weekly Salary : $2800 - $3000 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Kansas RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience in a Level 1 trauma center Strong recent scrub and circulating experience in cardiac surgeries Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Nicotine-free facility policy compliance Willingness to float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as needed Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a fast-paced clinical setting Scrub and circulate during cardiac surgeries, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays as scheduled Float to other operating rooms and departments as required Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare facility policies, including nicotine-free requirements Experience the best of Kansas City healthcare while making a difference in cardiac patient care.
