Advanced Practice Provider – Gastroenterology

Join St. Charles Health System as an Advanced Practice Provider in Gastroenterology, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients across Central Oregon.

The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with gastroenterologists to provide inpatient consults, outpatient care, and ongoing management of patients.

Responsibilities :

• Provide outpatient GI care and inpatient consults for patients generally 16 years and older
• Conduct histories, physicals, pre-procedural assessments, and discharge summaries
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures within your scope of practice
• Partner with physicians, nursing staff, and technicians to continually improve patient care standards
• Educate and counsel patients and families about prevention, treatment, and ongoing health maintenance
