Intensive Reading Teacher

Avant Garde Academy seeks a passionate and dynamic Intensive Reading Teacher to serve our Intensive Reading students. This team member will be responsible for planning and implementing daily lessons that provide students with appropriate academic and social instruction in an engaging way to motivate and spark student's curiosity. This Intensive Reading Teacher must provide students with a caring environment and a team player who will work collaboratively with the other grade-level teachers in a PLC model.

Must possess a valid Florida Teaching Certificate or have a Letter of Eligibility from Florida DOE that authorizes the holder to teach secondary Intensive Reading. Recent teaching experience at the secondary school grade level is preferred.
