About Us :

JetPens is a growing online retailer, specializing in premium writing instruments and office supplies. We have been featured in Wired, New York Times, and CNBC. We are looking for a copywriter to support our marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities :

Write blog articles for the JetPens website, including selection guides, how-to tutorials, interviews, and more.
Write video scripts for short- and long-form content for JetPens YouTube channel.
Research best practices for boosting search rankings.
Help write product descriptions for new products.
Help refresh website content as information gets outdated, including rewriting descriptions and retaking pictures.
Support the social media team as needed, including writing copy, taking pictures, and researching best practices for each platform (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc).
Create ad copy for new products weekly.

Requirements :

Exceptional copywriting skills.

Passion for stationery, office supplies, and art supplies.

Able to execute ideas quickly and have a results-driven and efficient workflow.

Excellent communication skills and reliable team player.

Capable of managing multiple competing priorities.

Strong organizational and time management ability.

Passion for marketing communications.

Bachelor's degree in English or a marketingor communications-related Bachelor's degree.

This is an on-site full-time only position. We are located in San Jose, CA.

Bonus Points :

Professional experience writing blog articles and / or video scripts.

Good visual design skills and sensibilities.

Experience using a DSLR for photo-taking or video-shooting.

Experience with Google Workspace applications.

Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere or Premiere Rush.

Hours & Pay :

Salary range : $23-$30.75 / hour

Business hours are 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM
