Cost Accounting Manager

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced cost accountant to fill the role of Cost Accounting Manager.

The Cost Accounting Manager will prepare / present detailed analytics on, manufacturing variances, cost of sales, bill of materials and variances and lead meaningful conversations with department managers / senior division leaders regarding the financial performance of the departments / division. The Cost Accounting Manager will work closely with the Division Controller.

Requirements and skills :

• Bachelors' Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years' hands on experience as a Cost Accountant
• Experience in calculating monthly Variance Analysis (Price Variance, Usage Variance, etc)
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with monthly G\L close processes
• Hands-on experience with Standard Costing methodology
• Hands-on experience with inventory cycle counting
• Strong quantitative analytical skills
• Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
• Advanced Excel skills (Xlookup, Pivot Tables, etc)
