As a Field Service Engineer, your primary responsibility will involve the servicing of medical equipment in hospitals and healthcare systems. This position is based in Boston, MA, and will primarily focus on the Northeast regions. Your objective will be to exceed the expectations set forth by service agreements and warranty obligations while delivering exemplary customer service and ensuring effective communication.
You will develop expertise in electro-mechanical systems through specialized training, and it is imperative that you possess strong customer service and communication skills. Minimum Qualifications
1-3 years of field service experienceAssociate’s degree in a related field or equivalent training / experienceProven ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systemsExperience in the medical device industry or other highly regulated fieldsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeDemonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction and improve work processesThis position may require traveling, including up to 60% overnight staysMust be able to travel on short notice and be available for air travel when necessaryValid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to operate a vehicleAvailability to work weekends and after-hours as needed to support customer and business requirementsAbility to regularly lift, move, slide, raise, and / or place items weighing up to 50 lbsCapability to stand, walk for extended periods, sit, squat, kneel, ascend and descend stairs, and reach with hands and armsAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)Desired Qualifications
