• Employment Type : Travel\n\nJob Description\n\nAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least two years of perioperative experience.\n\nResponsibilities\n
• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting\n
• Provide perioperative nursing care\n
• Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week from 10 : 30 to 19 : 00\n
• Expectation to work some holidays\n
• Required to float to other units if short staffed\n
• All time off requests must be approved prior to assignment and should be minimal, especially in the first two weeks\n
• Block scheduling is limited to no more than three or four shifts in a row\n
• Candidates must be willing to go to the lab within 24 hours after signing\n
• Local candidates within a 45-mile radius are not accepted\n
• Some holiday coverage is required\n\nRequirements\n
• Active KS or compact RN license required\n
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience\n
• Proof of negative 13-panel drug screen within 30 days required\n
• Must provide two professional references for consideration\n
