Physiatry physician job in Michigan : Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opportunity Central MichiganLocation : Midland and Alma, Michigan (30 minutes from Saginaw)Position Type : Full-Time, Employed Position Highlights

Provide care within a dedicated 18-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located on the hospital campus

Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

Multidisciplinary team including physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapists

Patients receive three hours of therapy per day

Real-world simulation therapy (passes for restaurant, grocery store, etc.)

Subspecialty support available : neurology, cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, orthopedics Patient Conditions Treated

Stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neuropathy, myopathy

Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barr syndrome

Amputation, orthopedic conditions, generalized debility

Cardiac and pulmonary conditions with rehab needs

Polyarthritis and multi-trauma cases Candidate Requirements

MD or DO (U.S. or foreign equivalent)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
