Job Description :
The Street Outreach Worker will mediate conflicts within the Englewood community, when applicable. Further, the Street Outreach Worker will engage high-risk individuals in a variety of settings within the community (i.e. street corners, schools, parks, individuals home etc.). The Outreach Workers work schedule will begin in the afternoons, evening, or late nights. This is a part-time position; however, it is expected that the Street Outreach Worker be on call to respond to violence based on a rotating schedule.
Hours : Early Evenings or Nights

Mediate conflicts between street groups or individuals harmed by violenceEngage with high-risk individuals who are part of street organizations, crews, cliques and street networksWorks with street organizations to prevent retaliatory violenceRespond to critical incidents such as shootingsMaintain an activity log outlining number of outreach activities conductedMake referrals for victim servicesAttend weekly collaborative meetingsAttend scheduled job training course
