Senior Power BI Developer

About the Job :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer   to join the ServiceNow Global Partner Data and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports as well as expertise in SQL data modeling and the Power BI tool stack. You will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

What you get to do in this role :

• Power BI Dashboard Design :  Design and develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that are visually compelling easy to navigate and understand.  Conduct data analysis to identify trends patterns and insights that can drive business decisions.
• Data Modeling :  Build and maintain complex data models to support analytical needs. Work with large datasets ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Design and implement data architecture to enable efficient data flow and transformation.
• DAX and Power BI Tool Stack Expertise :  Write complex DAX formulas to support custom calculations and metrics in Power BI. Performing DAX queries and functions in Power BI Analyzing current ETL processes.
• SQL Development :  Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes. Collaborate with data engineering to ensure efficient database design and query performance.
• Collaboration and Communication :   Work closely with business analysts data engineers and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption and effectiveness of Power BI reports.

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $102900 - $169800 plus equity (when applicable) variable / incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
