Job Details

  • Registered Nurse position in ICU / IMC Float specialty.
  • Role involves floating between ICU main, ICU Overflow, and IMC (stepdown unit).
  • Shift options : 7a – 7p or 7p - 7a with 36 weekly guaranteed hours and rotating weekends.
  • Patient population includes Adult and Geriatric.
  • Common diagnoses / treatments include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, NSTEMI, Stroke, Trauma, cardiovascular, neuro, medical surgical ICU / IMC.
  • Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, Certified Chest Pain Center, Level Trauma 3.
  • Equipment used includes Baxter Infusion Pumps and GE Monitoring.
  • Electronic Health Record system is Medhost.
  • Dress code requires black scrubs.

    • Job Requirements

  • Current State License required.
  • 2 years recent acute experience required.
  • 1 year travel experience and 1-2 years ICU experience preferred.
  • Required certifications include ACLS.
  • Preferred certifications include TNCC and PALS.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift options : 7a – 7p or 7p - 7a.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36.
  • Rotating weekends.
  • No block schedule requests; 48 hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed.
  • Candidate shift preference flexibility requested (day or night, or only days / nights).

  • Unit : ICU / IMC Float.
  • Number of beds : ICU – 16, IMC – 30 (including ICU Overflow).
  • Patient ratios : ICU – 1 : 2, IMC 1 : 3 or 1 : 4.
  • Supervisor : ICU – Katelyn Belt, IMC – Raine Hendrickson.
  • Equipment : Baxter Infusion Pumps, GE Monitoring.
  • EHR : Medhost.
  • Patient population : Adult / Geriatric.
