Essel Environmental provides On-Demand Emergency and Disaster Response Personnel throughout the United States.

The Field Hazmat Technician is responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, general construction and other tasks.

Job Responsibilities :

• Utilize hand-tools and equipment, absorbent booms and pads to contain and remediate impacted surfaces, soils and waters.
• Operate light and heavy equipment including : pumps, vacuum, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, etc.
• Perform emergency response activities including : chemical and water spills, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning, equipment decontamination.
• Be able to meet a 12 hour night or day shift work schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Job Types : Full-time, Contract

Pay : $18.00- 20.00 per hour
