Hand Add Tech I

Overview

This is an entry-level position responsible for the hand-add operation and providing back-up support to other roles. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of the general plant area, with an emphasis in the hand-add area.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 / hr to $17.50 / hr.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to support production.
• Stage and organize ingredients for mixing operators as indicated on mixing sheets.
• Functionally cross-trained in other support roles.
• Clear documentation of batch records to maintain traceability.
• Perform general clean-up inside / outside hand-add and finished product area.
• Ensure that storage bins and containers for ingredients are always labeled.
• Perform repetitive tasks (e.g. grasping objects, fine manipulation, push / pull, assemble objects, etc) with both hands.
• Provide back-up support for other roles as necessary.
• Available for overtime work on a scheduled or call-in basis, as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager / supervisor.
