Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details

Location : Attleboro, Massachusetts (02703) – Southeastern MA healthcare jobs

Facility Setting : Medical / Surgical & Telemetry Units (Float Pool)

Assignment Type : Travel RN contract

Contract Length : 14 weeks

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Shift : Night Shift (3x12-hour shifts, 19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Total Hours : 36 hours / week

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

EMR System : Cerner (Epic experience also considered)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license (required for all MA nursing jobs)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Cardiac nursing experience required

Experience with Cerner or Epic electronic medical records preferred

COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

First-time travel nurses with 2-3 years of experience are encouraged to apply

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Float between medical / surgical and telemetry units as needed

Deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations

Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips (no titration)

Administer and titrate IV insulin protocols

Provide relief for Avasure office staff during breaks and meals

Accurately document patient care using Cerner or Epic EMR systems

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 5 during night shifts

Participate in bed meetings and respond to unit needs as assigned
