Dispatcher I, II, III
The 911 Dispatch Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It requires working rotating shifts (days, afternoons & graveyards), holidays and weekends. Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute. Interviews for this position will be scheduled on October 6th - 10th 2025.
Davis County Sheriff's Office is currently hiring for 911 Dispatcher I, II, III in Farmington, Utah. This position performs working level complex work involving the use of a computer and radio equipment to dispatch emergency personnel. Requirements Level I :
High school graduation (or equivalent). Preference given for public safety dispatcher work in a 911 communication center using computer-aided dispatch system or related certifications.
Requirements Level II :
High school graduation (or equivalent). Two and half (2.5) years of continuous full-time public safety dispatcher work in a 911 communication center using computer-aided dispatch system.
Requirements Level III :
High school graduation (or equivalent). Four years of continuous full-time public safety dispatcher work in a 911 communication center using computer-aided dispatch system.
All Levels :
Preference given if you are fluent in Spanish or have Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Dispatcher Certification. If this sounds like you, keep reading!
