Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location : Providence, RI

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x12s Nights

Pay : $3515 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department RN to provide high-quality, rapid-response care to patients with urgent and emergent medical needs. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Assess, triage, and provide immediate care to patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions.

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and communicate changes promptly.

Provide patient and family education regarding care, treatment, and follow-up instructions.

Participate in emergency response procedures and code situations as needed.

Qualifications :

Active RN license in RI (or compact state)

1+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)

Strong clinical assessment and rapid decision-making skills
