Position Highlights :

Under the broad direction of the MRI Supervisor, preceptor, Radiologist and the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, the MRI technologist shall perform procedures on selected anatomy as requested by the clinician on patients in the following age groups; adolescence 12-19 years, adults 20-65 years and geriatric adults 65 and older. The technologist is expected to perform a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply the proper scan protocols needed to visualize the anatomy in question.

Must be able to work scheduled, weekends and "ON CALL" hours at multiple locations, if applicable.

Must be able to rotate through multiple locations, when needed.

The Ideal Candidate :

• Level One, plus three of the following : Prostate, Female Pelvis, Whole Body Imaging, Cardiac MRI, Diffusion Tensor Imaging & Reconstruction, Brain Perfusion & Reconstruction, Breast Biopsies, Enterorgraphy, Splenic and Liver Volumes with reconstruction.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Cross sectional anatomy.
• Communication skills for patient care.
• Critical thinking and Problem solving.
