Scotts Bluff County Assessor's Office is accepting applications for a Field Assessment Technician centering on data collection. Work involves data collection, data entry, and clerical tasks. Other duties include but are not limited to assisting administration with taxpayer protests; researching real property location and ownership; and maintaining public records. A majority of the time in this position consists of outdoor field work, sometimes in adverse conditions. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in real estate, appraisal work, construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience would be helpful. Must be able to pass a background check and possess a valid State of Nebraska driver's license. This position qualifies for Veterans' Preference. Scotts Bluff County is an EEO / AA employer.
