Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, and ETL to join our client's remote team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that provide clear, actionable, and reliable insights for leadership and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end business intelligence solutions, including data models, pipelines, and interactive dashboards.

Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, operations) to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for ETL workflows and data warehouse management.

Develop and automate KPI frameworks and performance reports to track efficiency of data center operations.

Create intuitive and compelling data visualizations using BI tools like Looker, Tableau, and Power BI.

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security while troubleshooting data-related issues proactively.

Identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting processes, and infrastructure scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or BI development.

Strong proficiency in SQL with experience writing complex queries.

Hands-on expertise with Looker, Tableau, and Power BI.

Experience with ETL pipelines and data modeling.

Proven ability to deliver scalable and reliable BI solutions for enterprise environments.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills in Agile / fast-paced teams.
