Job description

What you'll do :

  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and develop standard work procedures.
  • Conduct inventory transfers, adjustments, and tracking into computer database.
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
  • Enter HDPE and PPC production and report on metrics.
  • Conduct customer stocking agreement maintenance, customer order processing, customer releases and customer inventory review.
  • Distribute monthly resin and impact modifier purchases.
  • Create inventory ABL report for accounting team.
  • Update records of continuous improvement report.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring :

  • Associates Degree and a minimum of 2 years' of inventory control experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
  • Show initiative.

  • Within 3 months, you'll :

  • Complete your Atkore immersion program.
  • Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.
  • Gain an understanding of the business and team you work with and support.
  • Support various leaders and departments to ensure smooth business, finance and production operations.
  • Within 6 months, you'll :

  • Identify ways to strengthen you and your team's commitment to Atkore's core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.
  • Have a complete understanding of your position and its importance to daily operation.
