Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Respiratory Therapist 13-Week Contract Shelby, NC

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract in Shelby, NC. This position is based at a Level 3 Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain / Stroke Center, providing care for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics.

Shift & Schedule :

12-hour night shift, 7 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM (36 hours / week)

Weekend rotation every other weekend

Travelers work approximately 75% of holidays

Floating required within Region 3 facilities as needed (time spent traveling remains on the clock)

Requirements : RRT or CRT

NC Licensure

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

Pediatric and infant care preferred

Competent in all aspects of adult critical care

Technology & Equipment :

EMR : EPIC

Med dispensing : Omnicell

Monitors : Masimo

Ventilators : Servo I, Trilogy, Servo Air BIPAP

ABL Blood Gas Analyzers, Bubble CPAP

Support & Orientation :

Departmental leadership available

Hospitalist coverage 24 / 7, virtual intensivist after hours

NEO and 2-day departmental orientation
