Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactiveQuality Manager to join our team at the new bushing factory in Charlotte, NC.This role is crucial for ensuring that our high-quality standards aremaintained and adapted to our new facility. This role requires a hands-onmentality and the ability to work in a startup environment. The successfulcandidate will lead the development of the quality management system and builda strong quality control team.

Your Tasks :

  • Transfer quality standards from our established European operations and adapt them to suit the new operations.
  • Lead the setup and implementation of the quality management system to ensure product excellence and compliance.
  • Align quality management practices with the lead factory and corporate quality management to ensure consistency and best practices.
  • Build and develop a competent quality control team to support production and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes into all aspects of the manufacturing operation.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for quality-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensurecompliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations related toquality processes.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a high-voltage or electrical products industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field required.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, and Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards.
  • Proven experience in transferring and implementing quality standards across different operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and adapt to a new factory environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
