Job description

Dietitian – South Sound Region (Tacoma / Olympia)

Are you a Registered Dietitian looking for a dynamic role that blends clinical expertise with community-based care? This full-time hybrid opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients undergoing infusion treatments for infections, nutrition support, pain management, cancer care, and chronic conditions. You'll be part of a compassionate team focused on improving comfort, outcomes, and quality of life for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Position Details :

  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM (5x8s)
  • Work Type : Hybrid – charting and care coordination from home, with field visits to hospitals, patient homes, treatment facilities, and occasional clinic work in Tukwila
  • Service Area : South Sound region including Tacoma, Olympia, and surrounding communities
  • Additional Schedule : On-call and weekend rotation begins after 6 months
  • Compensation : Includes weekend, night, and on-call differentials, plus mileage reimbursement

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, coordinate, and direct all aspects of clinical nutrition care
  • Facilitate improvements in patient nutrition status to reduce complications and risk
  • Assist pharmacists in managing TPN patients and monitor enteral nutrition cases
  • Support quality, cost-effective, outcome-oriented care with minimal supervision
  • Contribute to the management of nutritional resources and policy development
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Washington Dietitian or Nutritionist Certification (within 6 months of hire)
  • National CDR Registered Dietitian credential
  • At least 1 year of hospital or home care experience
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Enteral / parenteral nutrition
  • Pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient care
  • Development of nutrition-related forms, policies, and procedures

    $35.06 - $54.43 per hour

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
