This program is an exceptional opportunity to grow your nursing skills, gain valuable experience, and make a real impact in patient care.\n\nThe Nurse Resident will attend essential training sessions, participate in professional development workshops, and fulfill clinical competencies as part of their journey towards becoming a proficient Registered Nurse. Under the guidance of a Clinical Education Team and a licensed RN, you will manage clinical situations and enhance your nursing practice in a supportive environment.\n\nEssential Functions\n

• Collect and assess patient data, ensuring accurate documentation and prioritization of patient needs.\n
• Collaborate with patients and families to create and adjust individualized care plans, with supervision from licensed RNs.\n
• Deliver exemplary patient care across various treatments and procedures, while recognizing and responding to the unique needs of different patient populations.\n
• Document all patient care activities accurately and comprehensively, emphasizing critical observations and necessary nursing interventions.\n
• Engage in quality improvement processes and demonstrate a commitment to safety and ethical practices in patient care.\n
• Complete all clinical skills and competencies under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.\n
• Assist with additional duties as needed, reinforcing a flexible and team-oriented approach.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n
• Education : Must hold an Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program recognized by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.\n
• Experience : No prior nursing experience is necessary; candidates with over 12 months of experience are not eligible.\n\nLicensure Requirements\n
• Must possess a valid RN license or a temporary Graduate Nurse licensure upon hiring.\n
