Starting Rate range - $19.50 - $20.70 / hr.

Job Duties :

Responsible for instruction and enriching activities with an emphasis on community involvement to a program room of 8-12 adults with developmental disabilities

Provide hands on support to individuals as needed, direct care duties as needed

Ensure and maintain a safe working environment for individuals and staff.

Good communication skills (oral and written)

Excellent organization skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple projects

Requirements (all provided by McGuire) :

Ability to pass physical and drug screening

Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance

Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check

FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting)

TB testing

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Associates Degree or documented post-high school college credits,

OR 5 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities required
